D&D Profiles - Nocturne of Duskwood

Character Backstory Nocturne was born in raised in an isolated village of Duskwood, a village hidden deep in the Darkroot Forest founded by tieflings that wished to escape their race's hated reputation and live in peace. Nocturne learned how to use medicinal herbs from his mother Lunia, and learned self defense and history from his father Umbran. Nocturne was a kindhearted young tiefling that spent everyday exploring the woods around his home. Life was simple until on day a cult lead by an evil warlock came to the village with an pack of werewolves at his command and rounded up everyone up to perform some sort of ritual to his patron. Nocturne escaped capture by virtue of exploring the woods that day and not being in the village at the time. He returned just in time to witness the ritual. Said Vincent, a young human artificer looking out at an ancient Precursor Repairer in the distance flying towards the crumbling floating castle he and his Fengar monk companion had just left. "Why are you baffled? You didn't seem all that surprised to see that castle we were at earlier flying in the air." said his Fengar companion Caius slightly amused by his companion's sudden bewilderment. " That castle was just floating in one place. That thing is actually moving and it looks like it having no problem despite looking like a giant building that was never meant to actually fly. Fengar- A Race for Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition

"A pair of bright, violet eyes stared at me from the darkness of the wood. As the owner of those eyes entered the light I was terrified by the sight of a strange, tall beast-man. It had the face of a wolf with a pair of ram horns jutting out of its head. It's body was built like a large bear crossed with a badger. But, by far the strangest part of it's body was its serpent-like tail which was wrapped around an arrow. I had been attacked by a pack of wolves and was nearly overtaken before this beast assisted me from the darkness of the thick woods I was exploring shooting arrows with great skill. Then as the last wolf was about to lunge at me the beast grabbed it and ripped its throat out with his razor sharp teeth. The beast looked at me, its muzzle still soaked in the blood of the wolf that nearly killed me, no doubt noticing I was injured. This blog is devoted to my gaming hobbies wither that be video games, tabletop games, and gaming culture in general.
